The New Mutants Annual 4 (1988)

According to Wikipedia, Dazzler was created by a group at Marvel: Tom DeFalco, John Romita, Jr., Louise Simonson, Roger Stern

The character was intended to be a joint venture with Casablanca Records, with the intention being Marvel would produce comics and Casablanca would produce a music star and records.

Dazzler could turn sound into light and lasers. She became a member of the X-Men at one point.
